I am delighted and honored to continue my educational leadership journey as Principal of Eugene A. Tighe Middle School. As I step into this role, I am filled with enthusiasm and a deep sense of responsibility to uphold the school’s rich commitment to academic excellence. Prior to coming to Margate City, I was part of the Washington Township school district for over 20 years. I earned my Bachelor's degree from Stockton University. I pursued my Master’s in Reading with a Reading Specialist Certification from Rowan University and a Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership from Wilmington University. I am a lifelong learner and am committed to the staff and students in Margate City.
Tighe School's mission is to provide a strong, contemporary education for all students to prepare them for high school and beyond. Your children are part of an inclusive environment, with amazing staff who care deeply for your children.
As principal, I am committed to ensuring a safe and secure environment for our students. As we embark on your child’s educational journey, I invite all parents/guardians to be actively involved in their child’s education. Your support and encouragement play a crucial role in their academic progress and personal growth. Together, we will build a strong partnership that nurtures and empowers our students to reach their full potential.
On a personal note, I live in Margate with my husband, Mike, two daughters, Madison and Isabella, and our two dogs Lily and Macie!
