Academic Support & Tutoring Opportunities

Homework Club- Supervised study and work time with staff available for tutoring, open to any interested student
Monitors: Varies by day - typically one ELA and one Math or Science teacher
Grades: 5-8
Meeting Times: Weekly on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays after school in the media center until 4:20 PM

Learning Lounge- Supervised study and work time with staff available for assistance, open to any interested student or students recommended to attend by a teacher
Monitor: Mrs. Thomas
Grades: 5-8
Meeting Times: Daily during recess (students sign up daily by lunchtime)

Library Recess- Supervised study and work time with staff available for assistance, open to any interested student or students recommended to attend by a teacher

Meeting Times: Daily during recess (students sign up daily in AM homeroom)

Peer Tutoring- Supervised peer tutoring to assist with studying and work completion, open to any interested student that volunteers or students recommended to participate by a teacher

Meeting Times: Weekly during lunch/recess - 5th and 6th graders on Mondays and Wednesdays, 7th and 8th graders on Tuesdays and Thursdays in Mrs. Sykes' classroom
